Devriez-vous vous procurer un casque de football rapide pour votre prochain autographe ?
Une question courante que l’on me pose souvent est la suivante : quelle est la différence entre un casque de vitesse et un casque de football ordinaire ?
Un casque rapide fait référence aux trous que vous voyez sur le dessus du casque. Vous voyez ce casque des Chiefs signé par Patrick Mahomes ? C'est un casque de vitesse.
Le casque Ravens signé Ray Lewis n'est pas un casque de vitesse. Il n'y a pas de trous sur le dessus.
Comment sont nés les casques de vitesse ?
Certains joueurs ont commencé à porter ce style de casque. Riddell, qui fabrique les casques NFL, a mis à disposition une version commerciale.
Les joueurs de l’époque de Ray Lewis ne disposaient pas de ce style de casque.
La question suivante que je reçois est laquelle dois-je obtenir ?
Ma suggestion est d'obtenir le type de casque que le joueur portait à son époque. Faire porter à Joe Montana ou Jerry Rice un casque de vitesse alors qu'ils ne portaient pas ce style semble un peu étrange. Ne convient pas. Je suggérerais de leur procurer le style non rapide, souvent appelé style "Proline".
Cela vous limite à attirer uniquement les joueurs actuels sur le style de casque rapide.
Une chose à considérer est également le nombre d’inscriptions que vous pourriez avoir sur un casque. Si vous l’avez remarqué, le casque de vitesse limite la superficie qu’un athlète peut signer et écrire des inscriptions. Alors que le casque non speed comme le Ray Lewis avec de multiples inscriptions, a beaucoup de place.
Les casques rapides et non rapides sont également fabriqués à partir de répliques et de casques authentiques. Ma suggestion à ce sujet est de n'amener les joueurs que sur le casque authentique dont le coût de signature est similaire au coût du casque. Cela n'a pas de sens de dépenser 50 $ pour un autographe et 300 $ pour un casque.

Mr. Powers delivered on my request for this Cal Ripken jr. autograph. It was a nice size clean and perfect signature better than I expected.
