Our most recent Stephen Curry autograph signing was one of the most memorable we have ever handled. Signing After the Game in Minneapolis
This signing took place immediately following a Golden State Warriors game in Minneapolis. Curry had just played, the Warriors had won, and he still committed to signing for approximately an hour and a half afterward.

Leading up to the event, there were security concerns outside the arena that put the signing in jeopardy. In situations like this, league and team security often make last minute decisions that can lead to cancellations.
For a period of time, this signing was genuinely up in the air.
Curry ultimately adjusted his schedule and made the decision to move forward with the signing after the game. That decision alone speaks volumes about his commitment to fans and collectors.
A Relaxed and Personal Experience
One of the most memorable moments of the night was how relaxed the environment became. Curry took a short break and sat down eating pizza with the team while continuing to interact with everyone in the room.
These are the moments that never make highlight reels but define who an athlete really is.
He asked questions about items, commented on unique submissions, and stayed engaged throughout. One particularly memorable item was a custom piece featuring a newborn baby footprint, which caught his attention and led to a brief conversation before he signed it.

Completing multi signed items is always one of the most rewarding parts of a signing, especially when Curry is the final piece.
Dual Authentication and Long Nights
This signing required both USA Sports Marketing and Beckett Authentication on site. Each company has its own process, organization requirements, and documentation standards.
With nearly 200 items signed, that meant close to 400 authentication stickers and a significant amount of sorting. Authentication wrapped up around 1:00 AM, with packing and shipping extending past 2:30 AM.
Fortunately, every count matched perfectly, which is always a relief after a long night.
International Collectors From Guangzhou, China
One of the highlights of the signing was reconnecting with two collectors who traveled from Guangzhou China. They flew over 24 hours to bring customer items for signing, primarily jerseys and photos.
Their business model mirrors ours, handling customer submissions locally and traveling internationally to obtain authentic autographs. Their English had improved significantly since the previous Curry signing, making conversations about sports, culture, and business especially enjoyable.
It was also a powerful reminder of Curry global reach and the NBA influence worldwide.
One of them even had Curry write I can do all things on his forearm, with plans to have it tattooed later.
