She's Made $200 MILLION - What's Her AUTOGRAPH WORTH?

Well we don't normally talk about female autographs much on this show, but that's what we are going to be doing today. It's obviously a male dominated industry, but I figured I'd change things up just a little bit for you, and today's video is all going to be about the top 10 female autographs that you should add to your collection, or possibly even give as a gift. As someone with two daughters I know the importance of having strong female role models. Especially in athletics, if you play soccer as a girl, having a female icon as a soccer player to look up to is so important. It’s something to strive towards. Now most of these autographs aren't going to be “investment types”. They're not going to be increasing as much in value over time as your Kobe or your Michael Jordan. That's not really the point of this video, but if you want to inspire a young girl or add something different to your collection, then today's video is for you.

I tried to add a variety of sports onto this list because otherwise we'd end up with just the USA women's soccer team. Of course they've been probably the most popular autographs over the last 20 years, but you're gonna see a little bit of variety from every single sport, and I also considered whether or not their autograph was accessible or not, their on the field accolades, and also their marketing and overall role in athletics. Without any further ado, let's go ahead and jump into this list.

#10: Jackie Joyner-Kersee

If you don't know Jackie Joyner-Kersee, is she's a better athlete than you. She dominated track and field. I mean she was just an iconic athlete. She could pretty much do everything and can still do everything. Known for the heptathlon where athletes basically compete in a million different events over a couple different days, like long jump and whatnot. I mean just an absolutely incredible track and field athlete. Over four Olympic Games she took home three golds, one silver, and two bronze medals. I mean absolutely incredible to win six medals. She's had sponsorships with Nike, McDonald's, Honda. Estimated net worth of five million dollars so very nice. Signed photos as cheap as like $30. I mean for track and field, a very popular sport of course, and arguably she's probably one of the top athletes not just female but also overall, $30 is not a bad little price especially if you're giving it as a gift.

#9: Michelle Kwan

If you don't know who Michelle Kwan is you need to be checking out some figure skating, but we all remember watching her in the winter Olympics. She just absolutely dominated everything. Five-time World Champion, nine-time US champion which ties her for the all-time National Championship record. Two-time Olympic medalist winning a silver in 1998 and a bronze in 2002. She's arguably the most decorated figure skater of all time for the United States, I mean just absolutely iconic. I remember watching again in the winter games. I mean the winter games is one of the best games to watch. I just love watching the winter games. Again, tons of sponsorships with her such as Campbell's Soup, Visa, Coca-Cola and also Krafts, so some big names. Estimate net worth about 12 million dollars. Photos and magazines have her around about $60 to $100 so very affordable. They're pretty affordable as gifts and also for your collection as well.

#8: Simone Biles

Now as someone who has an eight-year-old in gymnastics, gymnastics is impossible. If you are not mobile, strong, and athletic, you are not going to survive in gymnastics. These are the cream of the crop athletes as far as I am concerned. It is just incredible to watch what they can do with the body weight movements, but it's absolutely so much fun to watch men's gymnastics and women's gymnastics. She won the individual all-around vault and floor gold medals in the 2016 Rio Olympics. If you don't follow gymnastics, there's basically four events, and it's very hard to dominate all four events. They're all so different and that's just incredible right there. Most decorated American gymnast with 25 Olympic and World Championship medals. She set the US record for most gold medals in women's gymnastics in a single gymnastics where she had four in a single Olympics. That's incredible. Net worth like 3 million dollars at 23 years old. That's just incredible. Signed photos range from like $100 to $150 so a little bit more on the expensive side, but she's got signed books too and those run about $50 so very affordable autograph I think for one of the best gymnasts we've had of all time.

#7: Billy Jean King

Former number one professional tennis player probably regarded as one of the greatest tennis players of all time. Get this, 39 Grand Slam titles, including 12 in singles, 16 in doubles, and 11 in mixed doubles. I mean just a winner overall. First female to earn over a $100,000 dollars in prize money, in 1971, and then in 1973 at 29 she did the battle of the sexes with tennis match against 55 year old Bobby Riggs. That was absolutely cool, iconic, I actually saw an autographed photo with both of their signatures on there for $400. It sounds expensive but this this match was iconic, if you were alive during this time which I was not, but I was doing a little bit of research. It is absolutely an iconic moment in sports. One of the early female activists as well estimated net worth on her of 20 million dollars. Nice job Billy Jean King. Fairly cheap autographs at $60 to $100 and again they got that dual sign photo with Riggs at about $400.

#6: Danica Patrick

The most successful woman in American racing by far. Accomplished multiple firsts for women in the sport, becoming the first and only woman to win an Indy car series race at the 2008 Indy Japan 300. She's probably one of the most popular drivers. I mean can you think of a driver besides maybe Dale Earnhardt Jr and a couple other guys that are more popular than her? Huge sponsorships with Godaddy among others. Was a model and of course a ton of magazine covers as well. Estimated net worth 80 million dollars. That's absolutely incredible. Photos range from like $50 to $100 to get. Another affordable autograph. She had a signing she did a long time ago with Steiner sports I remember. So if you ever see stuff with Steiner, that stuff is the stuff to get. Of course you can always get third party authenticated stuff with PSA and Beckett as well.

#5: Maria Sharapova

She won 36 singles titles including five Grand Slams. The company that she created “Sugarpova”, 20 million dollars in annual sales, that's incredible. Last evaluation on that one estimated to be about 195 million dollar company. She got sponsorships like Motorola and Land Rover and whole bunch of other ones. Estimated net worth about 200 million dollars, that's incredible. Then signed tennis balls for her run about $200. She's got photos that are kind of around the same price so a little bit more of expensive autograph, but as far as from a marketing standpoint, she is way up here as far as not just in women's athletics but also overall as well.

#4: Ronda Rousey

Quick story. I remember eating pizza at a little local pizza joint probably a couple months ago and we were watching the UFC fights and my eight-year-old was watching it and she was just loving it. She's like one more fight, one more let's, watch one more fight. I'm like okay we can watch one more fight and a highlight came on for the women's UFC, and it wasn't Rousey, with some other fighters on there but then she turns to me and goes “The women fight too?” I was like yeah they fight too, and she was just loving it. It was so cool to watch her. Rousey when she was on the top of her game could rival like Conor McGregor as far as popularity goes. I mean it was such a rush to get like autographed gloves, photos, belts. They were selling big time. I mean definitely one of the most popular UFC fighters, although she ended up losing sometimes. You're never really going to go through UFC undefeated unless you are a top one percent guy, you're gonna get beat every once in a while. So it's hard to go undefeated.

First woman to headline a pay-per-view event. I bet you did not know that. Endorsement deals with Reebok, Carl's Jr, and Metro PCS. Estimated net worth about 13 million dollars. She's got gloves right now on a deal that she did with Fanatics. They sell for about $200 to $250. So be looking for Fanatic stuff for her, but there's also third-party authenticated stuff. Again, she's back in wrestling now so she's all over the place, but she's still out there and again another marketing genius when it comes to sports. Putting her name out there, but definitely one that you should be adding into your collection.

#3: Diana Taurasi

Man talk about a great overall basketball player. Now this list was actually very hard to put together. I had to revise this list a couple different times and I just had a bunch of basketball players and I couldn't decide which ones to put on here, and I ended up with Taurasi. Here's why. All-time leading scorer in the WNBA, she's won WNBA championships, four Olympic gold medals, and she's one of the 10 women who have won an Olympic gold medal, an NCAA championship, and a WNBA championship. She won three consecutive titles at UConn as well, and I think they had that long winning streak of like 92 wins or something like that. She's sponsored by Body Armor, arguably the best women's basketball player of all time. You can make arguments for other people, Lisa Leslie, what not, but she's definitely in that discussion. Estimate net worth at 1.5 million, and a pretty affordable autograph about $60 to $80 for photos and I saw a couple balls out there for about $200.

#2: Mia Hamm

Now I don't know about you, but when I think of women's soccer I always think of Mia Hamm first and I think of Brandy Chastain with that moment where she took her shirt off at the end, we used to sell that autographed photo all the time. But I always think of Mia. She was kind of one of the first kids on the block and she was one of the huge popular superstars. Two-time Olympic gold medal winner, won four NCA titles at UNC. Four. Now I don't know about you, but most people go to college for four years so that means she won one, every, single, year. That's incredible. She's in the soccer hall of fame as well. Marketing deals with Gatorade, Nike, and Pepsi. She even made the Weenie Box cover. I mean she's a marketing genius. Again, she's that woman soccer player that we all kind of grew up watching. Estimated net worth about 10 million dollars. You can find good photos of her for about $60 to $80. She did do an autographed signing with Lojo sports not too long ago, maybe a year or two ago. She’s done a couple there so you can definitely find some nice quality images for, and jerseys, and stuff like that too. Another fairly affordable autograph and I think the one to get for women's soccer.

#1: Serena Williams

When I was doing this list, as soon as I saw her name I was like she's number one. There's nobody else out there that we probably want to have in our collection, and it's actually probably one of the best investment autographs I would think. This one is Serena Williams. Now let's talk about Serena Williams here for a second. She holds the most Grand Slam titles in singles, doubles, and, mixed doubles. Among all players, she's tied for third all-time, so that's just a ton of victories. Her 23 Grand Slam titles are a record for the most tournaments in the open era. 2019, get this, she was the only woman on the list of the world's highest paid athletes according to Forbes. The only woman on there. That means you're doing some stuff right. You're doing pretty well for yourself. She owns Serena Ventures who she invests in companies with. That's her company that she does it all through, and it's like 30 some companies that she's invested in right now. So she's doing very well, very smart business lady. Estimated net worth 200 million dollars. I mean that's an absolutely incredible. That is just dominating marketing, dominating her sport, and it's shown with her autographs too. Now get this, she did sign with Upper Deck recently. Autographs ranged from about $1,000 for like jumbo tennis balls to about $2,000 photos. Now, is that an expensive autograph? Yes, but does Serena have that appeal outside of tennis? I think so. You've kind of seen that in the tennis card market as well with her rookie card kind of going way up there in value.

Again number one on this list is Serena Williams that was a no-brainer. So hope you guys like this video, something a little bit different, and something for the kids and for the girls and again some really nice quality autographs to add to your collection, or give as a gift. Some very affordable ones of course we got the expensive one with Serena but some very good options here
