For many athletes, it's simply the most efficient way to complete autograph

How Mail-In Autograph Signings Work
Participating in a mail-in signing is straightforward.
Step 1: Reserve Your Spot
Start by purchasing the autograph signing on our website.
During checkout you'll choose whether you are:
- Sending in your own item.
- Purchasing one of our items to be signed.
Step 2: Choose Your Add-Ons
Many collectors customize their signing experience by selecting optional services.
Common add-ons include:
Authentication
Authentication verifies that the autograph is genuine.
The three most recognized authentication companies are:
- PSA Authentication
- Beckett Authentication Services (BAS)
- James Spence Authentication (JSA)
If selected, an authentication representative will verify the autograph and apply the appropriate authentication sticker directly to the item.

Card Grading
If you're submitting a sports card, you can also request professional grading.
We offer grading submissions through trusted companies such as:
- PSA
- CGC
Your card can be graded after the autograph signing and returned encapsulated in a protective holder.

Most inscription purchases include up to three words.

Shipping Your Item to Us
Once you've reserved your signing, it's time to send us your item.
We recommend:
- UPS
- FedEx
Both carriers offer reliable tracking and consistent delivery times.
While USPS is certainly an option, we've generally found UPS and FedEx to provide more consistent tracking and delivery estimates for valuable collectibles.
How to Package Your Memorabilia
Proper packaging is one of the most important parts of the process.
Every item should be packed so it can withstand normal shipping conditions.
Some recommendations include:
Photos
Place rigid cardboard on both sides of the photo to prevent bending.
Trading Cards
Use:
- Penny sleeve
- Card saver or top loader
- Team bag
Then protect the card inside a sturdy shipping box.
Jerseys
Fold neatly and place inside a plastic bag before boxing.
Baseballs
Use a baseball cube whenever possible before placing it inside additional padding.
Helmets
Wrap with bubble wrap and use packing material so the helmet cannot move inside the box.
As a general rule, if your package could survive being accidentally dropped several feet during shipping, it's probably packaged appropriately.
Don't Forget Insurance
If your item has significant value, consider purchasing shipping insurance.
Insurance provides added peace of mind while your package is in transit.
Be sure to retain your tracking number until the signing has been completed and your item has safely arrived.
What Happens During the Signing?
Once all submission deadlines have passed, we transport the memorabilia to the signing.
During the event:

- Authentication representatives verify signatures when selected.
- Quality is monitored throughout the signing.
After the athlete completes the signing, every item is carefully reviewed before returning to our warehouse.
Quality Control
Before anything is shipped back to collectors, we inspect every order.
This includes confirming:

Returning Your Item
After the signing, items typically return to our warehouse for processing.
Most orders ship back approximately two to three weeks after the signing, although exact timing can vary depending on services such as authentication, grading, or custom framing.
When your order ships:
- Your tracking number is uploaded to your order.
- You'll receive a shipping notification.
- You'll receive delivery updates as your package travels back to you.
We typically return completed orders using UPS.
