Alors, que sont les inscriptions ?
Pour ceux d’entre vous qui ne sont pas familiers avec le marché des autographes, il s’agit de statistiques ou de personnalisations pour lesquelles vous payez généralement un supplément. Par exemple, Patrick Mahomes a été le MVP de la NFL en 2018. De nombreux collectionneurs veulent des objets sur lesquels il écrit 18 MVP. Ce qui en fait un objet très collectionnable pour commémorer cette saison spéciale. D'autres inscriptions que les clients ont effectuées consistent à personnaliser l'article. Par exemple, Patrick écrivait À MATT.
Quels sont les meilleurs à obtenir ?
Les années au Temple de la renommée, ROY, MVP, CY YOUNG, les inscriptions de champion du Super Bowl, les statistiques, des trucs comme ça sont ce que les gens veulent vraiment.
Lesquels éviter ?
J'essaie toujours d'obtenir des inscriptions qui ne changeront jamais. Par exemple, toutes les personnes qui ont reçu un autographe de Tom Brady avec l'inscription 5 x Super Bowl CHAMP s'en prennent maintenant car Tom a maintenant remporté 6 titres SB. Cela rend donc cette inscription inexacte. De plus, certaines personnes aiment les personnalisations, mais si jamais vous deviez le revendre, cela compliquerait la tâche.
Comment vous assurer que votre inscription soit la meilleure et la plus lisible ?
En fin de compte, il appartient à l’athlète d’écrire lisiblement. Mais vous pouvez faire certaines choses pour vous assurer que vos inscriptions seront réussies.
Donnez à l’athlète suffisamment d’espace pour écrire. Rendez l’inscription aussi simple que possible. Marquez clairement votre article avec des instructions dactylographiées sur EXACTEMENT ce que vous voulez.
Utilisez un stylo de bonne qualité (consultez le dernier article du blog). Enfin, si vous assistez à une séance de dédicace où vous verrez l'athlète signer votre article, demandez-lui poliment de prendre son temps avec l'inscription et d'écrire aussi clairement que possible. Après tout, vous payez un supplément pour cela.
