Zion Williamson est l'un des plus grands noms du basket universitaire cette année. 127 kilos et se déplace comme un meneur. Projeté comme le premier choix général de la draft. Il pourrait potentiellement aller aux New York Knicks puisqu'ils ont terminé avec le pire bilan de la NBA.
Alors, où est-ce que je vois le marché de Zion aller ? De plus en plus haut.
Commençons par un retour en arrière il y a 2 ans. Vous vous souvenez quand Ben Simmons est sorti de LSU ? Un grand nom, mais pas aussi grand que Zion. Ses articles se vendent 500 $ pour les ballons. 800 $ pour les maillots. Zion va dépasser ça.
Combien ? L'avenir nous le dira. Cela dépendra de qui il signe et de qui le drafte.
S'il va aux Knicks, vous aurez essentiellement 4 entreprises qui le poursuivront, ce qui fera monter le prix pour signer Zion pour un contrat d'autographe exclusif. Ainsi, tous ces gars devront facturer BEAUCOUP pour gagner de l'argent sur Zion. On pourrait potentiellement voir un ballon à 700 $ et un maillot à 1000 $. Quoi ??
Ceci dit. Est-ce que Zion est un bon autographe à acquérir une fois qu'il aura signé son contrat ? Sera-t-il un joueur assez bon pour maintenir cette valeur ?
Oui et non 😊. Non parce que qui en NBA vaut vraiment ce genre d'argent en ce moment ? LeBron ? Et même lui a un peu baissé.
Zion a quelques lacunes dans son jeu, principalement son tir. Mais le gars a ce "facteur X" en matière de QI basket. Une sensation de jeu très similaire à celle de LeBron. Rappelez-vous, LeBron ne tirait pas très bien non plus quand il est arrivé dans la ligue (certains diront qu'il ne sait toujours pas faire).
Zion a le talent pour être un joueur du Top 15 de la NBA. Mais à ces prix d'autographes, il sera difficile de s'en contenter. Si vous êtes un fan des Knicks et qu'il va dans votre équipe préférée, peut-être. Mais pour le fan moyen, ce sera peut-être une pilule difficile à avaler.

If people are smart they will wait awhile. Remember a guy name Ball that was selling his stuff for $500-1000 a pop. Now you can’t get much over $100.00 for anything with his name on it. Smart buyers will wait, only the fish will bite early on.
