Les athlètes ont parfois une mauvaise réputation. Nous le voyons tous en ligne, lors de jeux et en discutant avec nos amis. Surtout quand il s’agit de signatures d’autographes de souvenirs sportifs . Lorsqu'on assiste à un grand événement d'autographes, il peut être assez clair quel athlète est ravi d'être là et lesquels sont là pour gagner leur salaire. Rien de mal avec ce dernier, mais les fans préfèrent que les athlètes soient cool, drôles et engageants afin qu'ils puissent repartir avec une belle histoire. Cela peut donc être vraiment rafraîchissant de rencontrer un athlète et de vivre une expérience aussi positive.
J'ai eu l'occasion de travailler avec l'ancien champion national 3 x Nebraska Cornhuskers et membre du Temple de la renommée du football universitaire , Grant Wistrom , ce week-end. Ce n’était en aucun cas une énorme signature, plutôt petite, juste quelques éléments. Grant a pris son temps avec chaque article, me demandant exactement comment je voulais qu'il soit signé et où. J'ai même fait une erreur sur le choix du stylo avec quelques ballons de football. Ce n’est pas grave, Grant était prêt à les signer à nouveau.
La conversation était formidable et facile. Vous pouvez dire que Grant est un gars intelligent et facile à vivre qui aime généralement les gens. Aucun ego et très gentil avec tous. Il a également perdu tout son poids de footballeur, ce qui n’est pas une réalisation facile. Il est facile d’oublier qu’il est l’un des plus grands joueurs de football universitaire de tous les temps.
