Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Autograph Signing Manager to oversee and manage the logistics of athlete autograph signings. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations, accurate item processing, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This position is located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, and may require occasional travel to attend signings.
Key Responsibilities:
Website Management:
List and promote new autograph signings on the company website with accurate details and timelines.
Customer Item Processing:
Receive and process customer send-in items, ensuring all items are properly labeled and prepared for signings.
Verify labeling accuracy to ensure items are signed correctly according to customer specifications.
Ship signed items back to customers promptly and securely.
Signing Preparation:
Organize and prepare items for shipment to athlete signings.
Coordinate with team members to ensure all materials are accounted for and ready.
Spreadsheet Management:
Create, update, and manage Google Sheets to track various signings, including customer orders, item statuses, and signing schedules.
Maintain accurate and organized records for reference.
Event Attendance:
Travel to select autograph signings to oversee the signing process, ensuring accuracy and professionalism.
Qualifications:
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple spreadsheets and track complex processes.
Knowledge of the autograph industry or experience as a sports collector is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with customers, athletes, and team members.
Ability to handle shipping logistics and ensure the secure transport of valuable items.
Willingness to travel occasionally for signings and events.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify for website updates.
Proficiency in Google Sheets and other organizational tools.
Passion for sports and memorabilia collecting.
