Jim Palmer/Joe Morgan dual Autographed August 5, 1990 HOF First Day Cover /1100- COA

Jim Palmer has been considered one of the best pitchers in Orioles - and major-league - history. He was a mainstay in the rotation during Baltimore's six pennant-winning teams in the 1960s. Also, he is the only pitcher in big-league history to win World Series games in three decades (1966, 1970-71, 1983). Palmer won spots on 6 all-star teams, 4 gold gloves, 3 Cy Young Awards, and 2 ERA titles. He is a member of major league baseball's Hall of Fame. Joe Morgan added unusual home run power (at that time) for a second baseman to outstanding speed on the base paths and excellent defense to the Cincinnati Reds. After joining The Big Red Machine, Morgan's career reached a new level. This includes eight consecutive All-Star Game appearances (1972-1979). He is a member of major league baseball's Hall of Fame.
