Arizona State Sun Devils Football Game Day Book

The numbers are impressive: Twenty-three bowl game appearances. Dozens of All-Americans. Six members of the College Football Hall of Fame. Countless statistical milestones. But the numbers alone don't do justice to the impact that Arizona State football has had and continues to have on its legion of fans. What takes place within the storied confines of Sun Devil Stadium is more than simply a game; it's a way of life.A relative newcomer on the national scene, Arizona State has taken its place alongside the great programs in college football, and that trend shows no signs of diminishing. From the fabled exploits of now-legendary hero Pat Tillman, to the quarterback legacy established by Joe Spagnola and Danny White and upheld by Jeff Van Raaphorst and Jake Plummer, to great skill players like John Jefferson, to rugged defenders like Terrell Suggs-the Sun Devils have given their fans countless cherished memories.Offensive lineman Juan Roque put it this way: "The best days of my life were when I was a student-athlete at ASU. Donning the Maroon and Gold on Saturdays and playing alongside my Sun Devil brothers was special, and I take great pride in what we accomplished as a team, and I cherish the relationships I have with my brothers to this day."Game Day Arizona State Football is a celebration of the pride that all Sun Devil players and fans share, and of the decades of gridiron excellence that have inspired it.
