On me demande souvent quels autographes de baseball prendront bientôt de la valeur ? Eh bien, en voici deux qui semblent prometteurs. C'est le sujet d'aujourd'hui dans l'épisode 11 de The Powers Sports Memorabilia Show.

Mays est l'un des 5 meilleurs joueurs de baseball de tous les temps. Point. C'est un autographe INDISPENSABLE pour votre collection.
Parlons juste de ses statistiques une seconde. 24 fois All-Star, MVP de la ligue, HOF 79, Recrue de l'année, champion des World Series 1951. Sans oublier ses 660 coups de circuit.
Mays était le joueur prototypique aux 5 outils.
Outre ses statistiques et le fait d'être un des 5 meilleurs joueurs de tous les temps, pourquoi collectionner Mays ?
Il a réalisé l'une des prises les plus emblématiques de l'histoire du baseball, simplement connue sous le nom de "THE CATCH". Célèbre image au Polo Ground à New York où il fait une prise par-dessus l'épaule.
Cependant, lorsque vous collectionnez Mays, vous devez vous assurer d'une seule chose.
Achetez toujours un autographe de sa part avec un certificat d'authenticité d'une tierce partie, comme JSA, PSA ou Beckett. N'achetez aucun article avec juste un hologramme Mays. Il y a eu des problèmes avec ces hologrammes. Certains sont bons, d'autres non. Simplifiez-vous la vie et tenez-vous-en éloigné.

Je suggérerais toujours d'avoir THE CATCH dans votre collection. De plus, tout article avec une inscription telle que HOF ou SAY HEY est très recherché, mais difficile à trouver.

Gardez à l'esprit que lorsque vous achetez des autographes d'Acuna, il a 2 types de signatures différents. Sa signature de contrat est beaucoup plus longue et ressemble à celle ci-dessous. Sa signature en personne est beaucoup plus courte.
