スポーツ選手は時々ひどい評判を受けることがあります。私たちは皆、オンライン、ゲーム、友達との会話などでそれを目にします。特にスポーツ記念品のサイン会の場合はそうだ。大きなサイン会に行くとき、どの選手が参加することに興奮しているのか、どの選手が給料のために参加しているのかが非常に明確になります。後者には何の問題もありませんが、ファンはアスリートがクールで面白く、魅力的な選手であることを好みます。そうすることで、素晴らしいストーリーを持って帰っていけるのです。そのため、アスリートに会い、そのようなポジティブな経験を得るのは本当に新鮮です。

週末、元ネブラスカ・コーンハスカーズ3回ナショナルチャンピオンでカレッジフットボールの殿堂入りを果たしたグラント・ウィストロームと仕事をする機会がありました。決して大規模なサインではなく、むしろ小規模で、ほんの数点のサインでした。グラントは各アイテムに時間をかけて、どのように署名してほしいのか、どこに署名してほしいのかを正確に尋ねました。いくつかのサッカーボールではペンの選択を間違えたこともありました。まったく大したことはなく、グラントは再び彼らと契約することにした。
