Cal Ripken, Jr/Lou Gehrig Ironmen Photo Plaque/St. Vincent Gold Rep Stamp 12X15- COA

This Lou Gehrig & Cal Ripken, Jr. Commemoration Plaque is a highly collectible vintage sports memorabilia piece that honors baseball's legendary "Iron Men". This wooden plaque measures 12 inches wide by 15 inches tall. It traditionally honors the historic consecutive-game streak milestone shared by Lou Gehrig (2,130 games) and Cal Ripken Jr. (who broke it on September 6, 1995, with game 2,131). What makes this specific version unique is its center element: an official $30 gold replica stamp issued by St. Vincent and the Grenadines. St. Vincent frequently licensed official Major League Baseball content to print high-value commemorative "Hall of Fame Legends" stamp editions during the late 1980s and 1990s. The plaque mounts these licensed illustrations and pure 23-karat gold-plated replica stamps onto a marble-like board backdrop. Certificate of Authenticity & Limited Edition 4422/10,000.
