NBA Career

Webber's time with the Bullets was marked by a series of injuries and disputes with the team's management. In 1998, he was traded to the Sacramento Kings, where he would have the most successful years of his career.

Webber's career took a turn in 2003 when he was involved in a controversy known as the "Tim Donaghy scandal." Donaghy, an NBA referee, claimed that he had been instructed to make calls in favor of the Kings' opponents during a playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers. Webber was not implicated in any wrongdoing, but the controversy cast a shadow over his career.

After leaving the Kings, Webber played for several other teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers, the Detroit Pistons, and the Golden State Warriors. He retired from the NBA in 2008.
