When buying autographs there are two things to consider if an autograph is authentic.
1.) What the actual autograph looks like.
2.) What authentication does the autograph have.
Of these 2, the MOST important is #1. After all, you are buying an autograph right?
Too many sports memorabiliacollectors get caught up in what authentication does the autograph have. Don't get me wrong, #2 is VERY important still, but it is only a piece of the puzzle. Yes, all Tom Bradyautographs should have TRISTAR authentication. But on top of that, you need to study Tom's autograph. What does it look like? What sort of characteristics does it have? How big does he normally sign?

WOW!! Did I need to see this! This will help me in future purchases. I just started collecting autographed baseballs last year when I won a church auction. I’ll now start trying to recognizing signatures and if they are legit or not. Thanks for the info!!!
